View from Hyson Point on the north side of Mahone Harbour in April 2009, looking out to sea. In the middle is Strum Island, which until recently was covered in forest. Its so-called "development" spurred the formation of the Mahone Islands Conservation Association which seeks to "protect and conserve the natural environment of the islands and shoreline of Mahone Bay."
