The first church founded by Lunenburg's German settlers in 1754, St. John's Anglican Church suffered a devastating fire in 2001, and has been rebuilt to its former glory thanks to the dedication and donations of many people. As well as being home to its congregation, it serves as a magnificent concert venue.
